  The command's migration to the Navy's Nautilus environment, which I own as its only IT resource. 15 systems were converted before the role came to me. The other 17 are mine to carry through cutover.

  It had stalled on scanning. A converted workstation loses the NMCI drive the old scan workflow ran through, and the printer couldn't scan to email, which is how a Flank Speed machine gets a document into OneDrive. That feature reached the printer recently, so the remaining 17 are cleared to go. One workstation a day, sequenced around a performance schedule that outranks it, with authorization coordinated through Navy Music IT and my department head.

  A tool that reads SSH authentication logs and watches them for brute-force activity. The default threshold comes from replaying 34 days of real auth logs at 20 settings, and the write-up covers the one that would have blocked me from my own server.
